The best score that can be attained (35 correct) for either ear is -2.0 dB S/N,the worst score (0 correct) is 26.0 dB S/N. Lower scores, therefore, are indicative of better performance on this test. For score interpretation with age 6y cut off is 16.2 db S/N; ages 7 8y is 13.0 dB S/N; ages 9-12y cut off is 11.4 dB S/N; ages 13 and above, a cutoff of 10 dB S/N is recommended for the Toolbox version of this measure.
