Participants are given 30-240 seconds to complete each tower, depending on the difficulty level of the tower. The test is discontinued if the examinee is unable to complete three consecutive towers in the allotted time; Time limits for each tower task include: Item 1 Two Disk 30 seconds ; Item 2 Two Disks 30 seconds;Item 3 Two Disks 30 seconds; Item 4 Three Disks 60 seconds; Item 5 three Disks 120 seconds;Item 6 Four Disks 120 seconds; Item 7 Four Disks 180 seconds; Item 8 Five Disks 240 seconds; Item 9 Five Disks 240 seconds.
