Guidelines/Instructions
If Yes, skip to 5. If No, go to 4b. If an adolescent was working before the injury, then his or her current capacity for work should be at the same level. If the individual was seeking work before, then the injury should not have adversely affected chances of obtaining work or the level of work for which he or she is eligible. If the patient was in preschool or a student before the injury, then capacity for school work and school activities should not be adversely affected. Data submission guidelines: If GOSEPCrrntWrkSchlInd=No, make sure that either GOSEPWrkSchlRestrictInd does not set to No or GOSEPWrkSchlReducedCapacInd does not set to No. Question 4a is "Can the child function at work or in school at his or her previous capacity?" If the answer is No (GOSEPCrrntWrkSchlInd=No), then the child must have some level of restriction. If the child has some level of restriction, then either Q4bi (GOSEPWrkSchlRestrictInd) or Q4bii (GOSEPWrkSchlReducedCapacInd) must be Yes. If both had a no answer, then the child would have no restriction, which would contradict the no answer given to 4a.
