Preferred Question Text
A lot of children are shy. Some children are beyond that, and never warm up or feel comfortable with people outside the family. Were you ever like that? Did you always feel very uncomfortable or nervous around your teacher or the other kids at school? How about the kids in your neighborhood? Some kids feel very shy around people they don't know. They feel as if they just can't say anything. Were you ever like that? How long would it usually take you to warm up? Was it hard for you to talk to a person you didn't know, even if it was another kid? Did you get so scared that you couldn't say a single word? Was this true of you most of the time?
